Role Purpose
The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving business growth through the agency channel by recruiting, managing, and developing a high-performing team while expanding both General Insurance (GI) and Life Insurance portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Drive branch sales targets for GI & Life Insurance products.
- Develop strategies to increase agency channel productivity and market penetration.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution networks.
Team Recruitment & Management
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a strong team of Agency Managers / Advisors.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to achieve targets.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, partners, and insurers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Operational & Strategic Leadership
- Oversee branch operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Track business performance and submit regular MIS reports.
- Implement sales initiatives and growth strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate (MBA preferred).
- 6+ years experience in Insurance Agency Channel.
- Strong expertise in General Insurance & Life Insurance products.
- Proven experience in team recruitment and leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
